According to a study published in Horizontes Magazine (2023), by Tasayco-Jala, Rojas-Gutiérrez, & Rouillon-Apagüeño, knowledge management is essential for the development of skills and abilities in the members of organizations, allowing significant improvements in their relevance in the market. The study concludes that an adequate knowledge management in 4.0 organizations facilitates the development of their collaborators and, therefore, a better competitive position.
2025-01-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://publishing.fgu-edu.com/ojs/index.php/RSU/article/view/559 Influence of family on high school students' academic performance: a systematic review 2025-01-29T01:02:31+00:00 Ángel González-Escalante angelgonzalez@uas.edu.mx Paloma Sandoval-Gámez palomasandoval@uas.edu.mx
After reviewing the figures published by the SEP, which show a significant percentage of high school students nationwide face failure and dropout rates, a systematic analysis is conducted on the influence of family on academic performance at the high school level to identify factors such as the family environment in their cognitive and emotional development. The literature was classified according to its methodological approach and the philosophical theories it addresses, like positivism and social constructivism. Findings indicate that most studies focus on theoretical descriptions and highlight the need for research addressing family dynamics and students’ perspectives in an integrated manner. It is concluded that a positive family environment, with emotional support and parental involvement, can significantly improve academic performance, and it is emphasized the need to implement educational strategies that involve the family to address educational problems.
2025-01-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://publishing.fgu-edu.com/ojs/index.php/RSU/article/view/560 Metodology strategy for the development of preoperational thinking in the teaching of oral and written comprehension and expression in pre-school children 2025-01-29T01:17:20+00:00 Norma Elizabeth Contento Minga ncontentom@est.ups.edu.ec Floralba del Rocío Aguilar Gordón faguilar@ups.edu.ec
The research addresses the design of methodological strategies for developing preoperational thinking within the scope of oral and written comprehension and expression. The central aim of the study is to propose guidelines for improving the oral and written expression of high school students at Carlos Terán Zenteno School (Ecuador). The investigation follows a mixed-methods approach that combines qualitative and quantitative data. Data production is based on a diagnostic assessment of students, classroom observation, a survey of students' representatives, and interviews with teachers with experience in this educational level. The results show that students do not achieve the performance standards outlined in the curriculum and are at an initial development stage, particularly struggling with their immersion in the literate world. However, the study also highlights the creation of learning environments (learning corners), as well as the use of various techniques, resources, and materials to design playful activities. The research proposes four methodological strategies that combine learning corners with games, ensuring that resources, materials, and techniques allow students to engage their senses, strengthen their skills, and improve their oral and written comprehension and expression. These strategies must be context-centered, based on an accurate diagnostic evaluation during the early school stages, take into account the socio-pedagogical characteristics of the children, and be flexible enough to create, recreate, and adapt learning environments.
2025-01-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://publishing.fgu-edu.com/ojs/index.php/RSU/article/view/561 Knowledge management in public relations in Panama: An analysis from Moustakas' phenomenology 2025-01-29T01:25:25+00:00 Berta Ayala bertha1316bam@gmail.com
This study, based on Moustakas' phenomenology, investigates the subjective experience of public relations professionals in Panama regarding knowledge management. Through semi-structured interviews with a purposive sample, it was identified that collaboration is a fundamental pillar in their practices, although the formalization of this knowledge represents a significant challenge. The need to implement strategies to document and share tacit knowledge, as well as to develop more robust knowledge management systems, is evident. The results not only enrich the understanding of knowledge management in a context such as Panama, but also offer valuable implications for professional practice and future research. By identifying existing gaps and opportunities for improvement, this study lays the foundation for the design of interventions and policies aimed at strengthening knowledge management in public relations organizations, thus promoting innovation, adaptation to change, and continuous improvement in service delivery.
2025-01-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://publishing.fgu-edu.com/ojs/index.php/RSU/article/view/563 BIBLIOGRAPHIC REVIEW 2025-01-29T12:35:55+00:00 Nadeska Gallardo nadeska.gallardo@floridaglobal.university
This work written by Iván Suazo Galdames and Mahia Saracostti Schwartzman, in the year 2024, is structured in three chapters:
I.
