Author Guidelines

Submitted works must be interdisciplinary and multi-thematic research projects, theoretical or empirical in nature, addressing educational, social, and humanistic issues in local, regional, or international contexts. Authors must guarantee that submitted manuscripts are original and unpublished, and that they are not under review or have been submitted simultaneously to other scientific journals. Failure to comply with this condition may result in the manuscript not being published and any editorial measures the journal deems appropriate.

Submitted works will undergo a preliminary editorial review by the Editor and the Editorial Committee, who will verify the manuscript's alignment with the journal's thematic scope, compliance with editorial guidelines, originality of content, and the absence of plagiarism. Once this phase is completed, the articles will be sent for double-blind peer review. The Editorial Committee reserves the right to accept or reject manuscripts, in accordance with the scientific and editorial quality criteria established by the journal.

The journal Saperes Universitas urges a rigorous review of its policies on ethics, transparency, and best editorial practices, which underpin the academic integrity and transparency of the publication process. These policies explicitly establish the commitments and responsibilities of the editorial team, authors, and reviewers.

The Declaration of Originality must be attached when submitting the manuscript through the journal's OJS platform.

The content of the published articles is the sole responsibility of the authors.

Authors retain the copyright to their work and grant the journal a free, non-exclusive, and perpetual license for its publication, dissemination, and preservation, in accordance with the adopted Creative Commons license.

The articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), which permits their reading, downloading, reproduction, and distribution, provided that authorship is acknowledged, the original source is cited, and they are not used for commercial purposes.

The publications adhere to the journal's policies on ethics, transparency, and best editorial practices.

Authors may reuse and disseminate the published version of the article (post-print) through electronic media and academic repositories, for non-commercial purposes and respecting the reference to the original publication.

Acceptance of manuscripts is based solely on compliance with the editorial guidelines and the decisions of the peer review process, and does not necessarily imply the editorial committee's endorsement of the opinions, approaches, or conclusions expressed by the authors.

Authors can learn about the review and peer review process, which includes the initial editorial evaluation by the Editor or Editorial Committee, submission of the manuscript to academic reviewers, the corresponding evaluation process, and official communication from the journal until the editorial process is complete.

In this regard, the journal Saperes Universitas uses a double-blind peer review method (authors do not know the identity of the expert reviewers, nor do the reviewers know the authors' identities). See the relevant section for details.
