About the Journal
SAPERES UNIVERSITAS was born in September 2018, attached to Florida Global University, through FGU PUBLISHING, its mission is to publish the intellectual production generated by teachers, researchers, entrepreneurs and innovators, business organizations, government institutions, and non-governmental organizations that make life active in the knowledge society, with the aim that their contributions are visible and socialized with the community in general and the academy in particular. OPEN ACCESS POLICY
In accordance with the provisions of the legal framework that regulates the matter, the intellectual property of the works that are accepted for publication belongs to the respective authors, however, access to them is completely open and free, for which they may be reproduced in whole or in part, with the sole limitation of acknowledging the authorship and source of publication (Saperes Universitas Magazine), provided that such use is not commercial in nature. The journal bases this action on scientific honesty and the ethics of the researcher.
Important: Saperes Universitas has not established the collection of any fee or charge for the editing and publication services of the articles that it socializes in each of its editions, nor for having its contents available in open access.
Duties and responsibilities of the Editorial Committee of the Journal
The Editorial Committee of the magazine assumes responsibility for the quality of the documentary production that is disseminated. However, the authors are responsible for the content of the socialized contributions. Depending on what has been proposed, the commitment is assumed to:
-Optimize the content published constantly and permanently.
-Guarantee the publication of corrections or clarifications on an article that requires compliance with these formalities, in order to ensure the quality of the content displayed.
-The decision to accept or reject an article must be based on aspects such as Originality, importance, scope, and contributions.
-Ensure review by peer reviewers
Peer review process
The works proposed for publication are subjected to an initial evaluation by the Editor and the Editorial Committee, after approval by the aforementioned instance, who corroborate the correspondence with the area of knowledge of the journal, evidence of plagiarism and compliance. of the formal aspects of the magazine, established in the norms for the authors; Referees are assigned, for which the Editorial Committee reserves the right to publish articles that meet the publication criteria established in the Journal.
The works that pass this evaluation will be arbitrated by specialists in the area of knowledge, specifically through the method of double "blind pairs" (the authors do not know the identity of the expert evaluators, nor do they know the identity of the authors). However, in order to be published, they must obtain two positive evaluations of the same, even when they present slight corrections, which, if any, must be corrected by the author or authors within the indicated period.
The estimated time to complete this process is 3 weeks, and may be extended if the evaluating experts request an extension of the period indicated for the respective process.
If the work submitted to arbitration is rejected, a third evaluator is appointed, and its results will be reviewed by the Editorial Committee, in order to establish whether or not acceptance is appropriate. The rejected cases will be returned to the authors with the corresponding verdict.
It is important to point out: That the selection of the expert evaluators will be made based on their expertise in the subject, in addition to being an active researcher in the line to which the contribution submitted for its possible publication is attached.
Based on the information provided by the expert evaluators, the editorial committee makes the decision to publish or not the manuscript submitted to the respective arbitration.
GENERAL FEATURES
SAPERES UNIVERSITAS receives unpublished works under the modality of:
1. Reflection articles: In which the results of a completed investigation are socialized from an analytical, interpretative, exploratory, or critical perspective of the author (s), on a specific area of knowledge, resorting to original sources. For this type of contribution, a review of at least thirty-five authors is required, of which 70% must be made up of scientific articles published in Scopus, Scielo, Redalyc or any other refereed and indexed journal, as well as textbooks. Likewise, it is required that they have been published in the last 5 years.
2. Review articles: These contributions are made up of completed research in which the results of published or unpublished research are analyzed, systematized and integrated, in order to disseminate the advances and techniques used in the development of the work carried out. It is characterized by a bibliographic review of at least 40 references, comprising articles published in indexed journals.
3. Short articles: Brief manuscript where preliminary results or advances of research in development are exposed. Its referential contribution is based on the review of the state of the art.
4. Essays: With a minimum of twenty (20) bibliographic references.
