An alternative approach to the drying up of the Fúquene lagoon, Cundinamarca, Colombia
Abstract
Within this research, a documentary review of the current situation that impacts the Fúquene lagoon, such as the drying up caused by agricultural activities and the development plans to combat these affectations to the body of water, is addressed. Thus, by means of a metadata study, we seek to compile information to be interpreted with respect to the criteria proposed, in addition to the different work alternatives to face the mentioned problem; followed by a triangulation process supported by documents constructed from the environmental, cultural and social approach. An analysis is presented based on the principles of complex thinking (systemic, retroactive, recursive and dialogic) of the future risk of the total drying up of this lagoon in order to understand the consequences of its affectation from different perspectives in this region that includes municipalities of Boyacá and Cundinamarca. The final recommendations are focused on an academic environment, specifically with the area of socio-humanistic as a transversal axis to the approach of planetary problems in higher education institutions.
