Work entrepreneurship of the contemporary university student
Abstract
Entrepreneurship among young university students is presented as a promising option for job creation, income generation and general well-being, especially today, where innovation and the ability to adapt are essential for professional advancement. However, there are challenges marked by a deficiency in entrepreneurial education that should enhance key skills for the labor market. The purpose of the article is to reflect on entrepreneurship in the workplace of contemporary university students with emphasis on their ability to detect opportunities, take initiative and take risks. For the methodological approach, a hermeneutics of documents was carried out that facilitated the interpretation of the entrepreneurial phenomenon, involving a process of interdisciplinary integration and a change in the thinking paradigm, underlining the importance of innovation, commitment and perseverance. The findings highlight that the work entrepreneurship of the contemporary university student is a journey full of continuous learning, flexibility and work ethic, transcending the simple creation of companies to become a lifestyle. It is concluded that work entrepreneurship in the university context must be approached from a comprehensive perspective, including both academic training and the development of practical skills in an education that harmonizes theoretical knowledge with practical experience to face the challenges of the business environment.
