Abstract

The research that has generated this article aims to design a strategic work plan for the sociocultural adaptation of Venezuelan migrant students at the Víctor Manuel Londoño Departmental Educational Institution. Its development is theorized from constructivism and the theory of relations. The methodology is based on pragmatism under a qualitative paradigm and action research (IA) as a method, with a type of projective research and analytical design. The techniques and instruments for data collection correspond to the interview and documentary review. The participating subjects are 40 migrant students, 2 directors (1 principal and 1 coordinator) and 3 teachers, to whom different selection criteria were applied. The procedure was carried out in three phases: Exploratory, descriptive and evaluative. Concluding that positive mediation is achieved thanks to the development and implementation of a strategic work plan, which contains activities focused on the interests and ideals inside and outside the classroom of an inclusive educational community.
