Post-pandemic pedagogical leadership. Latin American educational challenge: What should we rectors do?
Abstract
This work is aimed at examining post-pandemic pedagogical leadership, from the Latin American educational challenge, reflecting on what should we rectors do? For this purpose, a documentary research is developed, supported by a bibliographic design. As sources of information, articles, databases, books, institutional repositories, reports, degree works and doctoral theses have been consulted. The findings found make it clear that in the face of such a convulsive scenario, such as that generated by COVID-19, in the educational field it is necessary to implement pedagogical leadership, where the rector as manager of the organizational processes of his institution, can evaluate a project in which pedagogical strategies are incorporated, based on principles such as equity, quality and inclusion. Based on a diagnosis in curricular matters, teaching updating, technological infrastructure and equipment, connectivity and sanitary conditions to serve the student population. In conclusion, the rector in his capacity as leader is committed to fostering an emotionally stable context in the field of his institution, integrating not only knowledge but also the entire work team, in order to continue advancing in the face of the challenge represented by developing activities in the post pandemic.
