Disruptive behaviors in the academic performance of students at the primary level
Abstract
The study on disruptive behaviors aims to analyze the aggressive actions of primary school students, determining the degree of incidents in the classroom. For such purposes, we developed a qualitative research, describing the situations seen as part of the problem. Measurements were selected within the classroom with the criteria required for the application of gamification techniques in order to observe the behavior of the student population and their performance levels. In the same way, the results were presented through data issued by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Panama, the governing body of primary education, therefore, responsible for publicizing the general aspects related to the disruptive behaviors of the students primary level students, analyzing each of them and determining the feasibility of this study. Finally, it was concluded that disruptive behaviors are one of the factors that intervene in the student's learning process, however, this is linked to three fundamental aspects: Group control within the classroom by the teacher; methodologies applied in the classroom and the socio-family context in which the student develops.
