Sustainable innovation in university organizations
Abstract
The objective of this work was to analyze sustainable innovation in university organizations. Explanatory analytical type with a non-experimental, transectional field design. The population consisted of eighty-three (83) managers of higher education institutions in Venezuela, among which were selected: Rectors, Academic Vice Chancellors, Deans and Research Directors, to whom two instruments consisting of 91 items were applied, with Likert response scale; to determine the reliability, a pilot test was performed. The results show that in the headquarters of the universities under study, the development of processes that stimulate creativity is manifested as deficient, in the same way; the conditions of sustainable innovation are not promoted.
